Slope is looking for a passionate, driven, and collaborative VP of Research Site Development to drive our US-based Academic Research Organization expansion strategy and achieve our site growth targets. As the VP of Research Site Development, you will be responsible for increasing market share of the company’s software-enabled clinical-trial inventory management platform among oncology-focused research institutions in the United States.
You will identify, develop, and foster relationships with key decision makers at clinical research sites by effectively communicating both the scientific and operational benefits of Slope’s software. You will function as a subject matter expert and evangelist, engaging with research site stakeholders in person, at conferences, through speaking engagements, via social media, and by leading remote presentations.
You will work closely with key site decision makers, as well as other clinical stakeholders and members of Slope’s team, to drive our site development strategy to achieve our growth and engagement targets. Your success will be measured by successful deployments and utilization of our free site-based software across new, existing, and expansion site accounts.
As a deeply experienced veteran of clinical research, and as someone who likely started their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator, you can speak with authority about the pain points associated with current industry “best practices” as it relates to drug, device, lab kit, sample, and ancillary supply management. You understand all aspects of site-based clinical operations, budgets, and study management. You are also very familiar with all the different types of eClinical software platforms currently leveraged by research sites to facilitate study execution.
Most importantly, you’ve leveraged this knowledge and expertise to develop a proven track record of business development success. You are friendly, competitive, and proactive about business growth and business development. You have the ability to strategically map complex site organizations of all shapes and sizes, understanding how to unlock growth opportunities in those accounts through strong prospecting skills coupled with a deep interest, expertise, and industry network. Your ability to network and maximize the value of your network to grow business will be valuable.
