Job Summary

This position is for a Marketing Coordinator working in Slope’s Depot in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will collaborate with the CMO and Director, Marketing Operations to create project plans and forecasts for marketing campaigns and programs and then coordinate with internal contributors, subcontractors, and vendors to make sure their various deliverables are completed on time and as specified for a successful project. 

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
  • Coordinate with marketing vendors
  • Maintain standard tasks lists for all marketing projects such as events, email campaigns, webinars, advertising, and oversee these projects to make sure each contributor meets deliverable deadlines for a successful project
  • Maintain a clean and segmented marketing and sales database by cleaning and augmenting lead lists
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Assist graphic designer with final printing and production of sales and marketing collateral
  • Assist graphic designer in creating engaging print and digital marketing materials
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials
  • Publish and announce sales and marketing support materials to Slope employees
  • Ensure all sales support materials are accurate and current. Create new materials as needed
  • Own email marketing
  • Own the execution of social media posts and advertising
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field. MBA in marketing or related business field preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in marketing or communications. Experience in clinical research or life sciences preferred
  • Power-user of social-media sites, primarily LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Experience using CRMs for sales and marketing automation
  • Experience with web content management systems
  • Proficient in Google G-Suite, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Knowledge of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics preferred
  • Occasional travel required
